Parts of the ferry quay at Seivika is being demolished Wednesday 16th September. Because of this, the ferry can't lay at the quay overnight, but must go to Kristiansund. This means that the first and last departure from Seivika and Tømmervåg on weekdays will be cancelled. There will also be cancellations during weekends.
After demolision, the quay will cover only half of the ferry. This means it is not safe to moor the ferry overnight at Seivika. Tømmervåg ferry quay is also bein rebuilt, so it is not possible for the ferry to stay there overnight. The only alternative is to go to Kristiansund.
The 23.30 and 04.50 departures from Seivika and 00.00 and 05.20 departures from Tømmervåg are cancelled on weekdays for approximately 2 months, until the new quay is complete. Additionally, the 06.30 and 23.30 departures from Seivika and 07.00 from Tømmervåg on Saturdays and the 00.30 and 23.30 from Tømmervåg on Sundays will be cancelled. The Sunday departure at 07.30 from Seivika is moved to 08.00.
Møre and Romsdal county authority are building wider and longer quays with fendering adapted to the new ferries at Seivika and Tømmervåg. The quays are schedules to be complete by the end of 2020.
