Reservation transport

Reservation transport is public transport that is driven only when someone has booked it. You can find information about our services FRAM Flexx and FRAM Svipp below.

FRAM Flexx

FRAM Flexx is for everyone, and the driver can help you getting in and out of the vehicle if you need it. You are picked up or dropped off at home unless the trip description say otherwise. The trips are driven by taxi or minibus.

FRAM Svipp

FRAM Svipp is a new technical solution for reservation transport that FRAM will be testing out. The solution will eventually replace FRAM Flexx.

FRAM has begun a pilot project with FRAM Svipp in Ørsta/Volda, where it is possible to book transport to and from Ørsta/Volda Airport (Hovden) at times when there is no local bus to and from the airport, i.e. in the mornings, after 18.00 in the evenings and at weekends.

For the time being you must have a Norwegian mobile phone number in order to use this service.

FRAM Svipp is available from and to defined, zones close to the city centre in Ørsta and Volda at defined times which correspond to flight arrivals and departures.

The transport is driven by taxi, however to the equal price as it costs to travel by ordinary bus. As FRAM Svipp is part of the public transport offering from FRAM, there will be other passengers in the taxi if there are more than one booking for the same departure or arrival. A FRAM Svipp trip will therefore take a little longer than an ordinary taxi ride or trip with a private car.

Note! The booking page for FRAM Svipp is in an early stage and does not include much user instructions. We therefore recommend that you look through the guidelines for booking a FRAM Svipp trip before booking to make sure you get it right and book a trip according to your requirements.

Note! Until the booking page has been updated you cannot cancel or change a booking on the web site. Contact FRAM customer centre by telephone at 71 28 01 00 if you need to cancel or change your booking.

Booking deadline

  • Trip for departure or arrival before 16.00 must be booked no later than 19.00 the day before.
  • Trip for departure or arrival after 16.00 must be booked no later than 16.00 the same day.
