In connection with the the financial plan 2023-2026, Møre and Romsdal county authority decided the discount on zero-emission cars goes from 50% to 30% in line with the budget agreement at the Stortinget.

The assessment of zero-emission vehicles on public ferry services is regulated through “Rundskriv N 2/2018.” According to this document, it`s stated that zero-emission vehicles must not pay more than a maximum of 50 percent of the rates for conventional vehicles on ferries.

Møre and Romsdal county council is therefore applying for permit to go against this statement.

Until the results of the application to the Ministry of Transport is official, there is still a 50% discount for zero-emission cars on ferries.
